XXXXX
In the second quire, the first leaf has been excised. A small piece
remaining of the quire’s second leaf (fol. 3) has been conserved by pasting a
small fragment of it on a modern leaf pasted to the leaf’s remaining gutter. The
first leaf of the last quire has been excised. After the last quire, there was
another smaller one, of which most leaves have been excised. One with writing on
it has been conserved using a modern paper leaf.
The manuscript has
suffered various damage. Several leaves have been cropped, show damage or
staining, and a few have been heavily conserved.

Various accounts relating to
Finland
from 1587 to 1590
. The account keeper
does not mention his own name, but Finnish places are mentioned several times
(especially Porvoo
and Helsinki
). Some of the accounts are personal, others seem to
be related to an office. The accounts have suffered various damage, and the
ill-fitting leather covers may be a later addition.
It is uncertain how the accounts
have survived and how they arrived at the Kammararkivet (National
Archives). Kammararkivet’s stamp on the modern leaf supporting fol. 3.
