Three quires, each of four bifolia. A folded paper slip between fols. 4 and 5.
In decent condition although the first and last folios have suffered from wear and tear.
Text in a single column, not ruled.
One main hand, additions perhaps by another. Brown ink.
No decoration.
No covers. All quires sewn through their centrefolds and then together.
A
tenant register
with a somewhat disorderly look. The wear and tear of the outer leaves suggests the manuscript has never been bound together with other manuscripts. A part of a large block of records from this period pertaining to the Finnish possessions of
Anna Clemetsdotter Hogenskild
.
The financial records of
Nynäs
and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and later the
Swedish National Archives
, when the possessions and archives of
Hogenskild Bielke
were confiscated following his execution in
1605
(see

to these descriptions).
