One quire consisting of six bifolia.
In good condition. First and last folio show signs of wear, indicating that the quire has not been bound to other quires but has formed a manuscript of its own.
Text in a single column, not ruled.
One hand typical of
mid-16th-century
Swedish cameral records. Brown ink.
No decoration.
No covers. Sewn through the centrefold with light-colored string.
A clear record of expenses and incomes, presumably by the bailiff (or scribe) of
Nynäs
estate since the author often uses the first person. Part of a large block of records from the
16th century
pertaining to the estates of
Nynäs
,
Vik
,
Kyllelä
, and
Lahis
.
The financial records of
Nynäs
and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and later the

Hogenskild Bielke
were confiscated following his execution in
1605
(see

to these descriptions).
