            The fragment is kept in a folder titled ‘Åbo län’ along with other Finnish
              fragments. It contains the record of a hearing on 
13 October 1597
 in Turku
. It seems
                likely that the fragment is one part of what was originally a larger compilation of
                court records from the court in Turku.The later history of the fragment and how it came to the 
            Swedish National Archives
                is not known. Since the fragment is kept together with other fragments relating to
                the courts of Finland, they may stem from the same location, possibly the Svea court
                  of appeals
