          <history>
            <origin><p>The historical notes are included in a volume belonging to Palmskiöld’s
                collection, which contains a large variety of material concerning Sweden that was
                collected or copied by archivist and antiquarian <persName role="owner">Elias
                  Palmskiöld</persName> (1667–1719). The material was organized and bound around the
                  <date type="binding" from="1740" to="1760">middle of saec. XVIII</date>. The two
                leaves contain annalistic markings. The first ones are written by <persName
                  role="scribe">Henricus Matthei Raumanensis</persName>, who may also be the scribe
                of the so-called ‘Palmskiöld Fragment’ (<ref type="mss">Uppsala, University Library,
                  Palmskiöld 312, pp. 369–377</ref>), done around <origDate from="1533" to="1565"
                  >saec. XVI 2/3</origDate>. Another scribe added notes relating especially to
                  <origPlace>Viipuri</origPlace> and <persName>Paulus Juusten</persName>, 1548–1563.
                A few other scribes added further notes, the latest of which is dated
                  <date>1586</date>.</p><p>The notes may have once belonged to a larger collection
                    of historical writings. P. 127 includes a list of Finnish deities (<origDate from="1500" to="1599">saec. XVI</origDate>). </p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>‘Palmsk. 311’ on the inner front cover. The manuscript is a part of the collection
                of <persName role="owner">Elias Palmskiöld</persName> (1667–1719). There is no
                information on where the two leaves containing the annalistic markings originate
                from, or how they came to be added to Palmskiöld’s collection. The collection came
                to <orgName>Uppsala University Library</orgName> in <date type="acquisition"
                  >1724</date>.</p>
