First notes by Henricus Mathei until 1563 (pp. 95–96). After this (pp. 97–98), notes from 1548–1563 by another hand. Followed by two hands that continue with the notes until 1586.

The bifolium and singleton are part of a larger collection of historical materials gathered in a binding of saec. XVIIImed.

The historical notes are included in a volume belonging to Palmskiöld’s collection, which contains a large variety of material concerning Sweden that was collected or copied by archivist and antiquarian Elias Palmskiöld (1667–1719). The material was organized and bound around the middle of saec. XVIII. The two leaves contain annalistic markings. The first ones are written by Henricus Matthei Raumanensis, who may also be the scribe of the so-called ‘Palmskiöld Fragment’ (Uppsala, University Library, Palmskiöld 312, pp. 369–377), done around saec. XVI 2/3. Another scribe added notes relating especially to Viipuri and Paulus Juusten, 1548–1563. A few other scribes added further notes, the latest of which is dated 1586.

The notes may have once belonged to a larger collection of historical writings. P. 127 includes a list of Finnish deities (saec. XVI).

‘Palmsk. 311’ on the inner front cover. The manuscript is a part of the collection of Elias Palmskiöld (1667–1719). There is no information on where the two leaves containing the annalistic markings originate from, or how they came to be added to Palmskiöld’s collection. The collection came to Uppsala University Library in 1724.
