          <history>
            <origin><p>The manuscript consists of a single quire containing charters (dated between
              1365 and 1476) concerning the goods of St Sigfried’s altar in the cathedral of <placeName>Turku</placeName>.
                The originals of the charters were kept in the cathedral and many – although not all
                of them – also appear in the cathedral’s copybook (<ref type="mss">REA</ref>). The writing of this
              manuscript seems to have taken place during <origDate from="1500" to="1599">saec. XVI</origDate>; possibly it was done in
                connection with the confiscations of the charters during the Reformation.</p></origin>
                <acquisition>
              <p>In
                <date>1763</date> the manuscript was in the possession of the Swedish historian and collector,
                <persName role="owner">Anders Anton von Stiernman</persName> (1695–1765) who mentions
                it in a letter to <persName>K. F. Mennander</persName> (1712–1786), bishop of Turku (see <bibl>Österbladh 1942,
                  661</bibl>). After Stiernman’s death, his collections were passed to <persName role="owner">Olaus d.y. Celsius</persName> (1716–1794)
                through marriage in <date type="acquisition">1766</date>. The manuscripts from the collection were moved to <orgName>Uppsala
                  University Library</orgName> in <date type="acquisition">1795</date>.</p><p>First leaf: Shelf-mark of Uppsala University Library, ‘E 214’, and a previous
