                <condition>The fragment probably derives from a late-medieval copybook. It has been
                  detached and rebound in a manuscript containing a considerable number of later
                  texts. The fragment is in good condition.</condition>

              <p>The copybook fragment has been bound with various other manuscript materials, most
                of which dates from <date from="1700" to="1799">saec. XVIII</date>. The collection is bound in wooden boards with white
                leather covers. This binding was done in the <orgName>Uppsala University Library</orgName> in a style
                used for several manuscripts of the E-collection.</p>

          <history>
            <origin><p>The small fragment with four different texts possibly derived from a copybook
              written at the <origDate from="1485" to="1515">end of saec. XV or beginning of saec. XVI</origDate>. It contains documents
              found in other Finnish sources (<ref type="mss"><hi rend="italic">Registrum ecclesiae Aboensis</hi></ref>
              and <ref type="mss"><hi rend="italic">Codex Skokloster</hi></ref>) and may come from the same area.</p></origin>
                       <acquisition>
                         <p>The fragment was in the possession of <persName role="owner">Ricardus von der Hardt</persName> (d.
                1714) who used it in his work <bibl><hi rend="italic">Uberior messis quorundam
                  fragmentorum historiae fennicae ac Helsingicae</hi>, 1708</bibl>. From him it passed into
                           the collections of <persName role="owner">Olaus d.y. Celsius</persName> (1716–1794) with the shelf-mark ‘Nr. 58’ (first flyleaf
                verso). The manuscripts from Olaus Celsius collection
                collection were moved to <orgName>Uppsala University Library</orgName> in <date type="acquisition">1795</date>. Manuscript shelf-mark ‘E146’ on the spine and inner front cover.</p>
