                  <title>kyriale</title> in <lang>Swedish</lang>. The kyriale contains offices
                widely spread in the beginning of saec. XVII (<bibl>Hannikainen 2006, 77-78</bibl>).
                This handwritten segment or the parchment covers were not found in the collection of
                cover fillings removed from the binding.</p>

          <history>
            <origin><p>A Finnish <title>antiphonary</title> written <origDate>1605</origDate> in <origPlace>Helsinki</origPlace> by <persName role="scribe">Michael Gunnerus</persName>, a local
              schoolmaster. The manuscript was dedicated and apparently intended for the <placeName>Hauho</placeName>
                parish.</p></origin>
            <provenance>
              <p><persName role="owner">Michael Bartoldi Gunnerus</persName> who was a schoolmaster in <placeName>Helsinki</placeName> 1598-1606 and the
                parson in <placeName>Vånå</placeName> (<placeName>Vanaja</placeName>) 1606-1636 (see <bibl>Hannikainen 2006, 64-69</bibl>). He dedicated the
                book to <placeName type="provenance">Hauho</placeName> parish, and it was apparently used.</p>
            </provenance>

              <p>Donated to <orgName>Porvoo Gymnasium</orgName> by <persName role="owner">Fredrik August Grahn</persName>, the son of the chaplain in
                <placeName>Hauho</placeName>, <date type="acquisition" when="1811-02-10">10 February 1811</date> (<bibl>Hannikainen 2006, 77</bibl>).</p>
