Cover fillings removed from the binding contain fragments of printed works in French and Latin. Fragment of a Swedish <hi rend="italic">Kyriale</hi> that was reportedly among the fillings, has not been located.

 Paper 56 + 1 folios (+ cover fillings). 16 20 14,5 17 Two sets of foliation. A modern one for fols. 1-9 and a contemporary one (1-47) in the upper right corner of the music section. The leaves have been torn in several places and repaired using Japanese paper. One column with 8 lines of notation.

Written by Michael Bartoldi Gunnerus who dates the book to 1605 in several places: cover leaf ‘Anno salutis humanae M.DC.V’, second cover leaf ‘M.B.Gunnaerus A.D. 1605’. Fol. 8v: 13 August 1605; fol. 47v: ‘Anno Salvatoris currente 1605. In augusto’.

Simple black initials often touched with green.

Parchment covers from a Latin psalter. Cover fillings from printed books and from a hand written one with initials ‘M. B. G[unnerus]’. Includes a kyriale in Swedish. The kyriale contains offices widely spread in the beginning of saec. XVII (Hannikainen 2006, 77-78). This handwritten segment or the parchment covers were not found in the collection of cover fillings removed from the binding.

A Finnish antiphonary written 1605 in Helsinki by Michael Gunnerus, a local schoolmaster. The manuscript was dedicated and apparently intended for the Hauho parish.

Michael Bartoldi Gunnerus who was a schoolmaster in Helsinki 1598-1606 and the parson in Vånå (Vanaja) 1606-1636 (see Hannikainen 2006, 64-69). He dedicated the book to Hauho parish, and it was apparently used.

Donated to Porvoo Gymnasium by Fredrik August Grahn, the son of the chaplain in Hauho, 10 February 1811 (Hannikainen 2006, 77).
