 Paper 12 folios. 11,5 34,5 Text area varies. No foliation. VI12 The quire is in decent condition. Several leaves are dirtied and there is fraying along the edges, but the text remains legible. One unruled column with a varying number of lines.

One main hand writing a steady cursive.

Stab-stitched, no covers.

The manuscript contains the register of Count Axel Leijonhufvud's (1554–1619) incoming and outgoing correspondence for the year 1588, during which he was the governor (ståthållare) of Finland. It must have originated in Leijonhufvud's chancery, and doubtless represents only a small part of what was once a larger archive of correspondence.

The fragment originally belonged to Axel Leijonhuvfvud, and probably arrived in the Swedish National Archives with the rest of his collection. It is now kept among other documents relating to 16th-century Finland.
