          <history>
            <origin><p>The manuscript contains the <title>register</title> of Count <persName role="owner">Axel Leijonhufvud</persName>'s (1554–1619)
              incoming and outgoing correspondence for the year <origDate>1588</origDate>, during which he was the
              governor (<hi rend="italic">ståthållare</hi>) of <country>Finland</country>. It must have originated in
                Leijonhufvud's chancery, and doubtless represents only a small part of what was once
                a larger archive of correspondence.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The fragment originally belonged to <persName role="owner">Axel Leijonhuvfvud</persName>, and probably arrived in the
                <orgName>Swedish National Archives</orgName> with the rest of his collection. It is now kept among other
                documents relating to <date from="1500" to="1599">16th-century</date> Finland.</p>
