Two sets of foliation: one in ink in the upper margin (starts from 2 on fol. 1); another, modern, foliation stamped(?) in the lower margin. i + 2II8 + (IV+1) 17 + 2III29 + (II+1)34 + 4III58 + (III-1)63 + III69+ II73 + i Fol. 9 is a small slip. Fol. 32 is smaller leaf pasted to fol. 33. Modern quire signatures in the inner margin of the first page in each quire. These signatures are probably contemporary with the conservation work and ought to represent the original quire structure, which does not always agree with the manuscript's present state. The manuscript has been heavily conserved. The binding has been completely renewed, several leaves have come loose, are conserved using paper, and are pasted to surrounding leaves and to guards in the gutter. One unruled column with a varying number of lines.

The manuscript contains transcripts of court sessions presided over in Hattula parish, 1583–1584, by Olof Larsson. The writing probably took place shortly after the sessions, and may have been carried out by an attending scribe or by the judge himself.

The later history of the manuscript is unknown. Probably it was sent to Sweden after its writing and shipped back to Finland after the Hamina accords of 1809. National Archives's shelf-mark '217' on the spine.
