                  completely renewed, several leaves have come loose, are conserved using paper, and
                  are pasted to surrounding leaves and to guards in the gutter.</condition>

            <origin><p>The manuscript contains transcripts of court sessions presided over in
              <origPlace>Hattula</origPlace> parish, <origDate from="1583" to="1584">1583–1584</origDate>, by <persName role="judge">Olof Larsson</persName>. The writing probably took place shortly
                after the sessions, and may have been carried out by an attending scribe or by the
                judge himself.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The later history of the manuscript is unknown. Probably it was sent to
                  <country>Sweden</country> after its writing and shipped back to
                  <country>Finland</country> after the <placeName>Hamina</placeName> accords of
                  <date type="acquisition">1809</date>. <orgName>National Archives</orgName>'s
                shelf-mark '217' on the spine.</p>
