A clearly written small booklet containing a
tenant register
of Vik estate. This record is part of a large group of
financial records pertaining to the estates of Nynäs,
Vik, and Lahis, and − marking an
exeption to the rule − concerns only Vik instead of all three
estates. The booklet format also suggests this could have been a draft used for the
compilation of a register.
The financial records of Nynäs and related estates came to
the Swedish Crown, and later the Swedish National Archives, when
the possessions and archives of Hogenskild Bielke
were confiscated following his execution in 1605
(see Introduction to these descriptions).
