No covers. The outermost bifolium of the first quire has been torn in two and is now preserved as two unbound single leaves. Fols. 17 and 21 are loose single leaves. Otherwise the quires are sewn through their centrefolds and then (loosely) together.

A tenant register concerning the Finnish possessions of Anna Clemetsdotter Hogenskild, namely Nynäs, Vik, Kyllelä, and Lahis estates. Part of a large block of such financial records surviving from the 16th century.

The financial records of Nynäs and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and later the Swedish National Archives, when the possessions and archives of Hogenskild Bielke were confiscated following his execution in 1605 (see Introduction to these descriptions).
