              <p>A fragmentary <title>tenant register</title> concerning the estates of <placeName>Nynäs</placeName>, <placeName>Vik</placeName>, and <placeName>Kyllelä</placeName> in
                <origDate>1561</origDate>. At least one or two folios are missing from the beginning, and the register
                begins in the middle of a section concerning cattle at Nynäs estate. Further on,
                incomes from the estates and their tenants are listed along with the number of
                cattle at the farms.</p>

          <history>
            <origin><p>This <title>tenant register</title> is part of a large group of cameral
                documents pertaining to the landed estates of <placeName>Nynäs</placeName>,
                  <placeName>Vik</placeName>, <placeName>Kyllelä</placeName> and
                  <placeName>Lahis</placeName>. These four estates were owned by <persName
                  role="owner">Anna Hogenskild</persName>, widow of <persName>Nils Pedersson
                  Bielke</persName> who was the head of the royal chamber until his death in
                  <date>1550</date>. The bailiff in charge of the estates at this time was <persName
                  role="bailiff">Mats Olsson</persName> (A copy of the letter assigning him as
              bailiff over the landed estates in Finland of <persName>Anna Hogenskild</persName> survives. The letter
              by <persName>Nils Pedersson Bielke</persName> is dated <date when="1549-11-05">5 November 1549</date>. See: <ref type="mss">Stockholm, National

            <acquisition>
              <p>The financial records of <placeName>Nynäs</placeName> and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and
                later the <orgName>Swedish National Archives</orgName>, when the possessions and
                archives of <persName role="owner">Hogenskild Bielke</persName> were confiscated
                following his execution in <date type="acquisition">1605</date> (see <hi
                  rend="italic">Introduction</hi> to these descriptions).</p>
