6a, fol. 2r–v: A letter by Nils Pedersson Bielke assigning Mats Olsson as bailiff to his landed estates in Finland. Dated 5 November 1549.

6a, fol. 3r: A letter by Gustav Vasa giving Anna Clemetsdotter Hogenskild the right to the Crown’s incomes from her tenants. Dated 1532. Published in GIR VIII, 113.

6a, fol. 3v: A letter by Gustav Vasa giving Nils Pedersson Bielke the right to the Crown’s incomes from his tenants. Dated 2 March 1546.

6c, fol. 4r: A copy of a letter from Gustav Vasa to Anna Hogenskild. Dated 9 July 1550.

Text in a single column, not ruled. A paper slip is attached to quire 6b and numbered fol. 6 ½. In rather good condition.

The main content was written by a single hand typical of mid-16th-century Sweden. Additions were made to some folios in a smaller handwriting.

No decoration.

No covers. All quires sewn through their centrefolds. Not bound together.

A well written and clear book-keeping record pertaining to the Finnish possessions of Anna Clemetsdotter Hogelskild, namely Nynäs, Vik, and Lahis estates. Part of a large surviving block of such records.

The financial records of Nynäs and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and later the Swedish National Archives, when the possessions and archives of Hogenskild Bielke were confiscated following his execution in 1605 (see Introduction to these descriptions).
