 Paper 14 folios. 20,5 30 Text area varies. No foliation. VII14 The manuscript is in good condition. There is some staining caused by moisture and slight fraying along the edges, but no text losses occur. One unruled column with a varying number of lines.

One main hand writing a rather careless and rapid cursive script.

No decoration.

One string-bound quire without covers.

The manuscript contains a single quire with court records, or rather, a simple registry of fines (with offences and fines followed by a list of names) given in the sessions presided over by Bertil Jönsson in 1549 in Viipuri Province. The writing is done by one hand using a fast cursive. The manuscript probably once belonged to a larger collection.

The later history of the manuscript and how it arrived in the Swedish National Archives are unknown. Possibly it arrived from the Svea court of appeals as did a few other fragments in the folder. Number ‘6’ written in a near-modern hand in the upper margin of fol. 1r.
