that have been reused in the <div data-type="binding" data-from="1600" data-to="1699" class="tei-tag-date">seventeenth century</div> as cover fillings for printed copy
of <div class="tei-tag-title"><div data-rend="italic" class="tei-tag-hi">Piae Cantiones</div></div> (1582). The recycling took place at the
latest in <div class="tei-tag-date">1687</div>, when the book was rebound, according to the note on the back
pastedown. However, the pastedown (and the paper strips used in the binding that
derive from the same source) predates this rebinding, since it also carries the date
30 October 1605. This waste parchment would therefore seem to have been taken over
from a previous binding.</div></div>

<div class="tei-tag-origin"><div class="tei-tag-p">The bifolium was part of an antiphonary possibly copied at the <div class="tei-tag-origPlace">monastery of
Naantali</div>. Other leaves presumably from this same book are preserved in <div data-type="mss" class="tei-tag-ref">Helsinki,
National Library, F.m. II.157</div>, as well as several leaves conserved in the <div class="tei-tag-orgName">Swedish
National Archives</div>. The present bifolium seems to have been used to bind an account
book in <div data-type="binding" class="tei-tag-date">1661</div>, probably the accounts of the municipality of Turku.</div></div>
